Welcome!!
VHF frequencies provide the best distance coverage for use in areas with mountains and/or lots of trees. UHF frequencies provide the best distance coverage in metropolitan areas with lots of buildings. Please send us a message through our contact page and we will help you apply for your federal communications license.
Includes FCC CORES registration, complete Form 601 application preparation, schedule K (Notice of Completion of Construction), if needed. Applicant needs to only complete a brief worksheet, sign an FCC Form 601 signature page and remit full payment for services and FCC fees.
Full payment for Licensing Services and FCC fees MUST be made before any application is submitted to the FCC for processing.
-Itinerant and Coordinated VHF and UHF Frequencies.
Encryption may be used on these frequencies whereas Personal GMRS frequencies or MURS frequencies cannot use encryption per FCC rules.
Our base fee is for a 10 Year FCC Itinerant Business Use License and includes all FCC fees.
Itinerant use channels are non-coordinated and usually for statewide, multiple states or even nationwide users. Some itinerant users require coverage for more than a 1 state and can optionally choose more states. Non-coordinated itinerant frequencies have the possibility for other licensed users to be using the same frequencies. Normally this is not an issue and does not cause interference however when talking over a 1/4 mile or so interference from other users could be possible. This is why we license 5 itinerant only use channels for our customers so in the event they experience interference they can switch to another channel.
For business users that always use their radios within a local area, for instance at their business or on a farm, or a certain city, a "Coordinated Frequency" is required instead of "Itinerant Frequencies". Coordinated frequencies quite often have no other licensed users within a 20-30 mile radius (or more) of your location. When choosing coordinated frequencies you will receive 2 locally coordinated frequencies plus 3 itinerant frequencies. Coordinated frequencies are chosen for each customer based on their address or latitude and longitude. The location you will be using your radios is coordinated with the FCC frequency database (and needs to be approved by the FCC) to avoid being issued frequencies used by another FCC licensed user near you.
Our itinerant licensing options offer 5 VHF or UHF channels - or combination of both, licensed on an itinerant statewide basis. Optionally available is 2 or 3 states and also 48 or 50 states.
Our coordinated licensing option offers 2 VHF or UHF coordinated channels for a 20 mile local radius plus 3 VHF or UHF statewide itinerant channels. Optionally available is coordinated plus nationwide -48 or 50 states.
After you purchase either licensing service we will contact you by email and generally speak with you by telephone. Our licensing service should be purchased before you decide to utilize or purchase VHF or UHF radios, unless you have already determined which is best for you. When we speak with you we will be sure to license the best frequencies for your needs. Also after purchasing this service you will be emailed a questionnaire to fill out. Most of these questions have to do with your business name (or your personal name) and address, the areas where you will need to use your radios and whether you will be using analog radios, digital radios or digital radios with encryption.
The entire FCC application process until you receive your license is generally about 7 weeks.
We look forward to serving you. If you have any questions before purchasing this service please use the "contact us" link at the top or bottom of any of our website pages.

Failure to comply with this can result in fines, often many thousands of dollars (see CFR 47 1.80). Obtaining a valid license is also best to insure coordinated frequency channels with less or no other users in your area.
